A Job as Rewarding as it is Challenging
All young people should have a safe place to live and the resources they need to succeed. This isn’t the reality for hundreds of youth who become homeless due to threats of violence, abuse, family conflict and untreated mental health conditions. For many it feels safer to leave home than to stay.
As a Bridge employee, you’ll become part of the physical and emotional bridge created to help vulnerable youth walk the path to safety and a bright future. It's a chance to take on work that is as rewarding as it is challenging.
Your commitment to the young people and the knowledge of your impact will keep you motivated as you face difficult situations and are called on to make important decisions under pressure. Our friendly and collaborative team will be behind you each day as you celebrate wins and learn new skills through our high quality training programs.
Immediate career opportunities are available for responsible caring adults and licensed professionals.

About Bridge Over Troubled Waters
For over 50 years, Bridge Over Troubled Waters (Bridge) has guided homeless, runaway and at-risk youth on the path to a stable home and self-sufficient future. Bridge founders were among the first to recognize and respond to the growing crisis of youth homelessness in the late ‘60s and were instrumental in advocating for the authorization of the US Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) Act in 1974. Bridge’s Mobile Medical Van, the nation’s first, and Bridge’s Transitional Living Program have been named national models for replication. Bridge continues to be a national model for youth-centered programming and in 2017 Bridge became the first agency in Massachusetts to provide youth-only rapid rehousing.
